A great place.
Reasonable menu with everything from hot dogs to steak. The atmosphere is nice. I especially enjoy the full size still by the back door. Their drink menu includes selections made with Moonshine as well as your usual selection of bottles and taps. The manager and owner circulate through the dining area asking how the meal is and if you need anything. They have several TV’s tuned to sports but they aren’t overwhelming if you want to sit and eat and talk. Plenty of menu items between 8 and 10 dollars.
Service here is on the mark!
We had three different servers follow up with us after the meal to assure we had everything we needed. Hot wings are awesome! There is more meat per wing and the flavor was perfect. This goes up against almost all the restaurants from here to Cary. Keep up the great work and for those thinking about stopping by, well stop thinking and just do!

We came in for a few drinks
and sat at the bar. Somer was our bartender. She was very attentive and friendly. Guy made a point to talk to us about our football team which is nice and shows that he cares about his customers. We always have a good experience here whether we eat dinner or just enjoy a beer.

for providing an outstanding experience for our recent event. All the staff were friendly and patient, the reserved private area was perfect, and the food and specialty drinks were excellent! All of our guests made a point to mention how pleased they were with your location and the ambiance. Everyone felt right at home and had a wonderful time.

My favorite is the Ruben sandwich with homemade chips. Tried fried pickles for the first time. They came hot and were yummy!!!

We saw the Bar Rescue episode
about Moon Runners and since it was not that far away. ( hour and half drive) We decided to check it out. WOW! It was GREAT! The drinks were fantastic. The place is geared around the moonshiners and their product. I tried their sampler of the different flavored moonshine. Couldn’t make up my mind which one I liked better. My husband had a steak he likes it medium rare and it was perfect. I tried the catfish, which was also good. I already have plans to meet some friends there during the holidays. We will be back.
Were there on a busy bike event day

for our large group and got us seated quickly. Our waitress was very attentive and accommodating. Our group regularly gets together and we have all agreed we will return to Moon Runners.
